Welcome to the Book Nook!
The Book Nook is where students, teachers, and peers can get together to discuss literature that is currently being read in class. The goal for this page is to act as a virtual book club for students. As subscribers, students gain access to teachers, peers, and study guides which are customized to meet the needs of the student.
Golden Gate Tutors is currently working on setting up a blog / message board section of the web site where students can post their comments for online discussions. The goal is to facilitate discussions between students and teachers which will give them additional insight as well as class discussion skills. Teachers will be monitoring student comments and will be available for questions when students are having difficulties. As the subscriber list grows, there will inevitably be ongoing discussions about any number of books, and students will be welcome to join in at any time.
